Vintage 2003 is the first attempt to spread the secret of Rogues Lane Wine and make it available to the general public. However this vintage was a drought year and the vines were cropped very low and produced approximately one tonne per acre. Winemaker John Ellis of Hanging Rock Winery added his magic touch together with the use of new American Oak to produce these masterpieces.

AS well as the Shiraz we grow a small amount of Malbec which we blend with Shiraz. The Malbec  adds another dimension of flavour, richness and a softness of texture to this very limited blend (20% Malbec & 80% Shiraz).
